The short film deals with the question of whether a higher-minded murder can be legitimate. Is a duty-minded person who commits self-justice different from an evil tyrant who kills for greed or insanity? Does such an act give a person the desired peace of mind? Can his actions, which are above the law, make the world a better place, or do they create an endless chain of violence and suffering that may never end?
HAMZA, a 30-year-old chef and extremist chases people who harm the common good of the earth and his fellows. He lives secluded in an apartment in the center of Cologne. HAMZA’s only reference person is a old hippie, who helps him find the right targets. The two belong to a radical underground organization called “Earth Keeper” by the international media. In the course of the story, HAMZA is haunted by a mysterious young woman with turquoise hair.
